The weight of a badminton racket is typically denoted by a "U" followed by a number, such as 2U, 3U, etc. Here's a breakdown of what these terms mean and why they are important:
2U
90-94 grams — Heaviest rackets. Most powerful but very less maneuverability.
3U
85-89 grams — Slightly heavy rackets. Great for aggressive plays.
4U
80-84 grams — Optimal weight for most players. Good balance of speed and power.
5U
75-79 grams — Lighter, often preferred by advanced players for fastest swing speeds.
6U
70-74 grams — Ultra-lightweight, allows extremely quick movements but generates less power.

How to measure foot length?
- Stand straight on a paper, and mark points of the longest front toe and heel. The length of the two points is the foot length. This is to be measured in centimetres (cm).
- Left foot and right foot will be slightly different lengths, please measure the bigger one.
- If feet are thick and wide, can choose one size bigger.
- If feet are narrow and thin, please choose one size smaller.
